EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE LOCAL PLAN UPDATE EXAMINATION

The Inspector's Report has been submitted and published by the Council. The submission of the Inspector's Report marks the end of the Examination process. The Council will now proceed to adopt the Local Plan Update. The Examination website will remain live until the Plan has been adopted and the challenge period has elapsed. The content will be removed thereafter.
THE INSPECTOR
Planning Inspector; Katie Child B.Sc (Hons) MA MRTPI was appointed to conduct an independent Examination into the soundness and legal compliance of East Riding's Update Local Plan (the Plan). The Inspector has now submitted her Report to the Council and the Examination has concluded.
GUIDANCE NOTES
Guidance Notes were prepared by the Inspector to help people understand the process. Procedural Guidance for Local Plans has also been produced by the Planning Inspectorate, together with a short guide aimed at those participating in a local plan examination for the first time.
